Kimberly was born in Santa Rosa, California to Jack and Charlene George. Her early childhood was rooted in the nearby town of Kenwood where she grew up the youngest of six children. In 1972 the family moved to Orville, California to run a bait & tackle business, where Kim attended middle school and graduated from Prospect High School. She remained in the Oroville area until her early thirties where she worked in retail and lived close to her mom and two sisters. Later she lived in Alaska for a while before moving to Laughlin, Nevada and then finally settled down across the Colorado River in nearby Bullhead, Arizona. There Kim continued to work in retail where she made endearing friendships with Adrienne Stambsugh and Charlene Frick. Together they enjoyed many years of fun times and local adventures. During that time Kim became an artist, loving to paint and do various crafts. Living near the river, Kim also indulged in her love of fishing. In her last months she struggled with a longstanding illness that eventually took her away from us. In the end Kim found her lasting peace in God's hands and gracefully shed the burdens of this life. Kim's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her and the people whose lives she touched. She is survived by her five siblings: Lynda, Mark, Nelson, Micheal, and Esther; many nieces and nephews; and also her dearest friends Adrienne and Charlene.
Dear sister and precious friend, may love and remembrance sustain us until we meet again.
