

Lance Anthony Miller, 75, a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, died on February 4, 2026. Lance was born in Pittsburgh, PA, graduated from Carrick High School, and worked for the Hays Army Ammunition Plant and at the US Steel Edgar Thompson Works.
He was an Army veteran, stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War. During a cross-country trip, he fell in love with Las Vegas and eventually moved there, where he and his wife raised their son. Frequently referred to as “Mr. Las Vegas”, Lance started his career as a poker dealer at Palace Station.
He then realized his dream of becoming a bellman, first at the El Rancho and the Frontier, and later at the Stardust, where he worked for many years. He was also a baggage handler at the Riviera and, for a time, a Keno writer at the Desert Inn.
Lance loved eating Korean food, playing poker, and following the Steelers and the Lakers. He loved working in the casinos.
Lance is preceded in death by his parents, Tecla Spinelli and Anthony Miller. He is survived by his brother, Robert; ex-wife, Daneen Murphy; son, Jarrett; grandson, Jacob; nephews, Alex and Chris; and great-niece, Alivia.

A memorial service will be held at Palm Mortuary - Northwest, located at 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131, United States. The service is scheduled for March 5, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
