

Larry W. Koch, 75, of Pahrump, died on March 17th, 2017 in Las Vegas (Summerlin Hospital). He was the devoted husband of Sallie Koch for 53 years. Born on December 24th, 1941 in Easton, PA a son of Virginia Koch and the late Donald W. Koch. He was an engineer at the Nevada Test Site for over 50 years. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Nellis Air Force Base. He and his wife loved to travel, especially on cruise ships. His favorite hobbies were hunting and fishing. He enjoyed helping others and was always ready to lend a helping hand. He could be found at the rodeo grounds, the race track, the BMX track, and in the garage helping one of his kids or grandkids with their latest project.
In addition to his wife and mother; he is survived by a daughter, Lorraine Rockwell and husband Glen of Henderson, NV; sons Donald Koch and wife Dawn of Henderson, NV; Kenny Koch and wife Denise of Pahrump, NV; Scotty Koch and wife Jennifer of Henderson, NV; sisters, Sally Fehr of Easton, PA and Cathy Chunko of Hellertown, PA. 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by a grandson, Brett Koch and sister, Sandra Koch. Services will be held at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones, Las Vegas, NV 89131, on Wednesday March 22nd, at 12 pm.
