Lidia Mendoza

Lidia Mendoza was born on August 27th 1992 in El Monte California. Lidia referred to by many as Lili was the 2nd of 3 daughters. Lili’s childhood consisted of lots of family time with a very close knit family. Lili and her mom had a close relationship given the fact that she was the baby of the family for 13 years.

As a child Lili was very quiet and reserved and always looked up to her oldest sister for guidance. They were like two peas in a pod and spent almost every waking moment together.

In school many of her teachers and classmates would describe her as nice, quiet, and very timid that is until recess when the real Lili came alive and she was the loudest person on the playground often described by many as a tomboy. In school she was always an intelligent student often times having straight A’s and being student of the month on many occasions.

Growing up Lili always loved animals, she grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, turtles and hamsters. She would even say she wanted to be a veterinarian when she grew up.

In the winter of 2001 Teodora decided to move the family to Las Vegas, Nevada where Lili would spend the rest of her life. In 2005 Lili’s younger sister Brianna (Bri) was born and despite the major age gap the two were very close. While growing into adulthood Lili had many talents that she enjoyed including baking, drawing, and cooking many of which she took classes to hone in on her craft.

In 2012, she met the love of her life Jemer who she shares two beautiful daughters Ella and Isla. In the beginning of their relationship they became parents to their beloved dog Marley often times referred to as their “first baby”. Jemer and Lili were together for 13 memorable years and spent time together camping and traveling. They loved to travel together and got to visit many places including the Philippines, Canada and a cruise to Mexico.

Lidia wanted nothing more than to start a family and her dream came true in 2021 when she had her daughter Ella (Elli). Lili was a devoted mother who enjoyed spending quality time with her children and teaching them the importance of family. In 2022 after growing their family Lili and Jemer purchased their first house, Lili took so much pride in decorating and turning their house into a home.

In 2025 Lidia and Jemers’ family was completed with the arrival of their second daughter Isla. Although Lidia only spent a short amount of time with Isla the amount of love poured into her will last a lifetime.

Lidia has been reunited with her nephew Kingston in heaven and she leaves behind her spouse Jemer Degorio and her daughters Ella and Isla Degorio. Also living is her mother Teodora Alvarez, Sisters: Viridiana Swanson and Brianna Mendoza, her brother Dre Swanson, and her nieces Harlow and Remi Swanson.

Lidia’s time here was very short lived but filled with so much love and joy, and she brought light to every room she entered and left a warm feeling in every persons’ heart she touched. Lili is a soul to never be forgotten and will be missed, loved, and remembered dearly by all who knew her.
