A message for a very special lady and Sister Linda Lechtenberger . Although I only was able to spend a short period of time getting to know John and Linda as a couple. Linda stood out in her tremendous determination to be present at our Christian meetings when it would have been much easier to stay at home . Very inspiring for me because I know the temptation to stay home when we don’t feel well . She also displayed a very generous spirit of helping friends who had a need . She was a very attractive person but her heart was what was really the most beautiful part of Linda, and I will be forever happy to see and give her a welcome back hug in Jehovah’s New World . Dear Lechtenberger Family,

Please know that you have been in my prayers for comfort. I didn't know Linda for as long a time or as well as some, but I do know that she was a kind sister. At times when I felt unseen, Linda noticed me. She had empathy and compassion, and she put her compassion into action through generosity. I look forward to seeing her when she wakes up in paradise.

The other day I was driving home and I was skipping through channels on the radio, and I heard Dancing Queen playing & my heart immediately sunk and tears filled my eyes, but I also felt a feeling of relief that my grandma was with me in that very moment.. I cried while a bunch of memories suddenly came to me.
A memory I will always remember is her checking her lipstick, it was either with a butter knife or the seatbelt buckle.

I remember traveling to Williams, Arizona in 2018 with my son Corbin to see the Grand Canyon.  We stayed with Aunt Linda and Uncle John. They welcomed us into their home and made us feel so comfortable and loved.  I will never forget that trip and the opportunity we had to spend time visiting and getting to be with them.   They gave us advice for seeing the Grand Canyon and I remember Aunt Linda being so worried about us staying away from the edge — she sounded just like my mother, Juanita, which made me laugh.   I love you Aunt Linda and will miss you!!

Love is energy that's expressed in action to those you care about. Linda was the epitome of love expressed in action, she never talked much but she expressed it always through action. To know that she was doing this despite being sick and constantly not feeling well, continuously showing up to the meetings bringing gifts. This was the greatest firsthand example of love expressed that I and my children have ever seen. We always thank our repurchaser Jehovah God as well as Jesus Christ for his precious blood that will ultimately allow us to see her again one day. I just want to say thank you to all the brothers and sisters who supported Linda as well as the  Lectenberger family in this trying time.

Forever Bound

My mother, Linda Sue, was a beauty through and through, with a heart so full of love in everything she’d do. She worked both day and night to keep us clothed and fed, and never missed a morning making every single bed.

As busy as she was, she kept her passions close at hand, with movies, music, makeup, she was the finest in the land. And when the right song played, the rhythm felt so right, we’d dance along together in the groovy, golden light.

She raised us two as sisters to be generous and kind, a clean home, and a mother’s heart were perfectly aligned. But now the world is different, and the days are hard to face, since she and Azia left us for a far more peaceful place.

I’m learning how to live again, though grief is often deep, but the DNA we shared is like a token I keep. She lives within my spirit; she flows within my veins. The bond of mother-daughter is the one thing that remains.

I love you, Mom, forever, from this life until the next, beyond the simple words I write within this humble text. And when I take my final breath and open up my eyes, I’ll find you and dear Azia waiting there in paradise.

Linda was a dear Friend to Joanna and myself. We always looked forward to seeing her as she was full of energy and knew how to make us laugh. Despite health challenges, she always stayed positive and was smiling.  Linda was beautiful inside and out and we look forward to seeing her again in perfect health. Jehovah promises that we will see her in his new world and join her family and so many friends. We miss you Linda!

I recall when Linda and John had just recently joined our congregation. I didn't have a problem recalling their last name, because it was similar to the last name of my Health teacher in my freshman year of high school. But Linda told me it was OK for me to call them by their first names - I was still working on remembering those. One day at the meeting, Linda said to me, "Our names are so simple that they're easy to recall. John and Linda. John and Linda." Something about that locked their names into my memory along with that specific moment in time. Even now, every time I say or think John and/or Linda, the memory of when she was standing there in the back of the KH near the AV booth saying that to me.

John and Linda would usually come to the meetings early, and I'd be there, too, because I often had AV duties. Now, John has always been good for a dad joke and he'd often come up and share one with me before the meeting began. If Linda was in earshot, before delivering the punchline or providing the answer to the riddle, he'd ask her, "Have you heard this one already?". She'd say, "No, I don't think so." But I always suspected that, being the constant companion of the man who kept them coming, she must have heard them all at some point, but after hearing so many, she'd had to clear away the recollection of some to make space for others, as I imagine the flow was pretty constant. Sometimes, after John had stumped me and delivered the punchline or given the answer to the riddle, Linda would say, "O, yeah! I did hear that one." 

Linda, and John, have always been kind and loving to me and my family. In our Father Jehovah's memory Linda now rests. We look forward to seeing her again when she is awakened from her sleep and told to stand up for her lot at the end of the days (Daniel 12:13).

After attending the memorial service, I learned that Linda was truly her beautiful self to the end. She still loved to give (I was gifted of a bag of her sweaters); when she could make it to meetings, she carried herself so beautifully that for a while, I couldn't tell she was dealing with so much until she mentioned it to me. She was always smiling and I loved sharing the back row of the hall with her and John because we would always share side eyes anytime we heard anything "interesting" in a comment. In the short time I got to spend with her, I'm so glad I got to know a small piece of her and I look forward to watching her and John dance and play music and her teaching me her cleaning techniques in the new world. We are so grateful for the hope and a time when sickness and pain is a distant memory. Thanks to Jehovah, this was not goodbye, but see you soon.  ❤️

Brother in the faith
In 1981 we moved to Clifton, Az. where John, Linda and their 2 daughters were living. There was only one congregation in the small mining town so, it didn’t take long for John and Linda to befriend us. We were privileged to go out in service with Linda and the rest of the family. We had such good times. Back in those days the family book study was held in our home so we build a special bound with the entire Lechenburger family.  Linda had such a warm smile when she walked in the door. After the book study John would always give out bible base homework assignments to the young ones. Linda and the rest of the adults would find it quite humorous.The following book study the young ones had to present their comments based on their assignments. It was such an enjoyable time for all of us. It certainly helped each of us build on our spirituality and our love for the brotherhood. My children recall that Linda was always the best dressed sister  in the hall. We look forward to the resurrection and the day when we can share all these beautiful memories with her. May the entire Lechenburger family remain strong spiritually as we await the day when we can reunite with our beautiful sister Linda.

I’m so happy I had the opportunity to know Linda, she was a good friend and full of good humor.  One afternoon my friend and I stopped by to see her. She had a small assortment of wigs and she let us try each of them out to see how we looked with short hair, brown hair, grey hair, curly hair! She was such a good sport and had a sparkle even when she wasn’t feeling well.
I can’t wait to have many more days, weeks, months and years to spend with her.  🩷

I first met Linda while we were attending Summerlin Hall.  She was always very kind and would speak, but I never got a chance to really talk to her.  I remember how she talked to me a couple of times when I lost my brother and her words was so comforting.  I knew that when she lost her daughter, it hurt and she explained to me that I should take my time and hurt the way I see fit and not to let anyone make me feel bad for how I felt.  I cherish those words and when we returned back to the Hall, she would always come over and say hi and give me a hug..  I remember telling another sister how kind she was and she had new Linda a lot longer than I did and she told me that Linda was one of Jehovah’s gems and I would do good to always cherish our friendship.  I can’t say that me and her were so close, but I can say that she always spoke to me said very kind things and would always give me a hug and when I didn’t come to the meeting and she saw me she would tell me I missed you last week. Is everything OK and we would have our conversations.   I can’t wait to see her in the new system so that I can remind her that because of her I got through a deep depression from the encouraging words she spoke to me.  I’ll see you soon. Linda and we’ll talk more in the new system.! 😭😭😭😭😭 miss you much!

I did not know Linda very long…
But when I first met her at the Kingdom Hall,
I thought she was such a sweet and friendly person.
She was very positive!
I had no idea she was a musician, like me,

I invited John and Linda Lechtenberger over my house for a Pizza Dinner and a Concert! 🍕 🎶 
We had a great time at our get together!
She even brought over a gallon of chocolate ice cream to make a milkshake.
Linda said she always wanted to be a Drummer!
Now Linda is in Jehovah’s perfect memory awaiting a Future Resurrection on a Paradise Earth! 🌎
We will all see her again during Christ’s 1,000 year Reign!!! 🙏🏻 🌎 🤴

The many years I have known Linda and John have been a blessing.  We bonded over a mutual loss. Linda was a beautiful soul, in and out. Despite what she was going through,  she remained so positive.  I looked forward to seeing her and John at our meeting to give and get a hug back.  Death truly is an enemy and is very painful for those left behind. Our comfort is knowing that our wonderful,  generous,  loving God Jehovah will soon cast death into the Lake of fire and reunite us with those who now rest in his memory.  I will hold the memory of Linda close to my heart and so look forward to seeing her beautiful face and giving and receiving a hug from her again.  John hold on tight to all your  memories, in time those memories will make you smile, that will be a sign of healing. May Jehovah the God of all comfort be with you and your family during this difficult time.

    I met your wife  for only a short time at our hall she was a light in hall her love and positivity was amazing to me what she dealt with as myself my wife also was very sick she always built me up to stay positive and concentrate on the resurrection which helped me greatly she made a stamp on my heart , I will always remember her smile and the way she lit the room up . She will be missed but she’s in Jehovahs memory just as my wife is now they are safe They will both wake up soon and be looking for us 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Just a few moments ago I thought of something I needed to share with Linda. I thought I will just call her, and within seconds I was crying. I miss her so much. My big sister Linda.. So beautiful and so caring.  I am missing her every day. Linda lived far away from us but she would call me a few times a week around the same time (during Wheel of Fortune) and Kevin would say "I bet it is your sister" I miss those calls. We had many belly laughs, scrabble nights and fudge making days whenever we were able to get together.  Our childhood days were filled with love and laughter. Always playing outside and Linda mothering over all us kids.  I could always count on Linda to listen if I needed to unload. I will always hold the beautiful memories of her deep in my heart.  If I am feeling this heartbroken and sad I can only imagine how John and Alicia are feeling.  I want to send my condolence and love to them and all the family. Everyone is feeling the pain and the void in our hearts. But I want to say she is not hurting any more and that gives me a sense of peace, and I hope it does you too.   She is sleeping peacefully.

Reading all the precious memories of our sweet little Linda made my heart smile. She certainly was loved by scores of people.  We know death is an enemy and we can see firsthand how much pain it causes those left behind.  Our dear sweet little Linda is asleep now, safely tucked away until her name is called and Jesus, through the power Jehovah God has given him, will bring her back to us.  What a glorious day for all!!  Linda was like a little sister to me. We never ever had a cross word. She stayed some summers with us in Arkansas. And when I got married and moved to Chicago she was at our apartment every day.  She babysat Alan Jr. and Sherry for us many times.  I always trusted her with that responsibility because she had 4 siblings that she “ mothered “ regularly. She “ introduced “ me to bell bottom pants, wearing knee socks with shorts, and wrapping Alan’s senior ring with Angora yarn.  She was a delightful silly girl in her teens. She grew to be a responsible wife and mother who adored and loved her family dearly. After they moved to Arizona we stayed in touch through the telephone.  She would call and we would talk about everything and everyone!! Like her sister, Juanita, I will and do miss those calls. Until we see you again sweet little Linda you live in our hearts 💕.

My “big sister” Linda will always be with me, in my heart in my memories in my family circle. I can’t think of my 4 siblings without Linda. Taking care of me, always concerned about me, always generous, loving, caring fun! I think of Linda always being considerate of other people’s feelings (like when she would called me Antonio even though she didn’t want to) but she wanted to make her siblings feel happy and loved always being the big sister. 
I have so many memories of me visiting Linda at the Berryville drugstore when she worked there. Letting me look under the cash register for money, reading all the magazines on the rack that were for sale, letting me buy “helps” and cherry flavored aspirin gum, making me true soda drinks and malts and letting me choose the music sometimes. Then visiting Linda in Arizona and Nevada in later years was always the same. Making sure I was well fed and taken care of with everything I needed and always giving me spending money too! 
Those memories will last my lifetime and will be cherished! 
My big sister will always be with me and in my heart! Until we meet again-I LOVE YOU!!!!

I’m really sorry for your loss, and I’ve been thinking about your family a lot. I’ll be honest — I didn’t get to know my aunt very well, mostly because she lived so far away and my teleportation skills are still disappointingly nonexistent — but even from a distance, it was always clear she had the kind of spirit that left an impression. I’ve heard enough stories to know she had a great sense of humor and a spark that made people around her feel lighter, and that presence will be missed. Please know I’m sending all the love and support possible during this time

In Loving Memory of My Sister, Linda

When I think about my dear sister Linda, my mind instantly goes back to our childhood. She was the ultimate tomboy—truly like the older brother I never had—and we were joined at the hip from the very beginning. There was never a dull moment with Linda. We spent our days exploring the neighborhood, playing outside no matter how bad the weather was, getting into a bit of mischief, and finding adventure wherever we could. She was loyal to her core; she always stuck up for me, and I for her.

Linda had a fearless streak, too. We liked living on the edge, doing things that would probably make people shake their heads today. One of my favorite stories is of the two of us trekking quite a distance to visit the “hobos” who camped near the Calumet Sag Canal. They lived in the woods by the water, and we would wander out there just to talk to them—something you certainly couldn’t do today. But those were different times, and Linda always carried herself with a mix of bravery and curiosity that guided so many of our adventures.

But she had her quiet side as well. I can still picture her sitting peacefully in her room, the door slightly cracked, listening to her favorite records for hours. Music was her refuge, her way of recharging and reflecting.

Linda was a good and compassionate person—kind-hearted, loyal, and full of life. And she was a jokester, too. She loved playing practical jokes and could make anyone laugh with her playful spirit.

These memories are the pieces of her I will carry with me forever. She was my sister, my partner in crime, my protector, and my friend. I will miss her dearly, but I am so grateful for the beautiful, wild, and heartfelt moments we shared.

It is difficult to speak about such a beautiful human being in the past tense so I have to say that Linda IS a kind and generous soul that touches many lives and clearly is dearly loved by all who know her.  She has such an expressive face and manner about her… I can't wait until we all get to see it again!  She is alive in Jehovah's memory - only sleeping for a bit and he will wake her soon!  How we praise Him for such a gift!

Luke 20:38. "he is a God, not of the dead, but of the living, for they are all living to him."
Mark 5:39 "... why are you weeping and causing this commotion? The child has not died but is sleeping."

While I didn’t get to see Aunt Linda as often as I would have liked, her memory will always stay with me. Her kindness was abundant and left a lasting impact. I especially cherish the visit I took with Grandma and Grandpa to Arizona when I was young for Azia’s graduation. This memory was a time filled with happiness, laughter, and dancing. She will be deeply missed and always loved.

Although most of my time spent with Aunt Linda was when I was younger, what I remember most was how she was always so inviting and how thankful she was for the time we shared. I recall a time when my grandma brought me along for Azia’s graduation and I can still picture Aunt Linda dancing at the reception. You could tell she truly loved to dance. She will be missed greatly! My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

Because the obituary that we initially wrote was not traditional, it seems that we ought to include the family information. 

Linda Sue Micheletto was born July 6, 1951, to Eugene Micheletto (parents Antonio Micheletto  and Catherine Del Mastro) and Mary  Lou Wojcik (parents Stephen Frank Wojcik and Ruby Rea Snow). 

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Azia Marie, her parents and grandparents, and one son in premature birth . She is survived by her husband of 53 years John Lechtenberger, her daughter Dr. Alicia Jean Lechtenberger (Sean, husband), her dearly loved four grandchildren (Jordan, Savannah, Allyssa Jade, Peyton John) and one great grandson (Jaxton). 

Further survivors are her four siblings (Steve, Wenona, Juanita, Jeff Antonio) and her aunts (Judy, Cathy, and Cheryl), uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces and many faithful friends whom she knew as brothers and sisters in the faith.

All of us who knew Linda are grateful for the time that we had with her, and we long for the promised resurrection day when we will see her and millions of others raised to life on the cleansed Earth—The New World.

I look forward to the day when the scripture at John 5: 28 & 29 will be fulfilled. Those in the memorial tombs  will  have Jesus' loving voice call Linda'sname and like Lazarus she will awaken and happily join her family and friends once again. What a joyful Day that will be for all who have a lost loved ones to man's "cruel" enemy "death". This is not just a nice story but a Promise from our Heavenly Father JEHOVAH. It will come true because his purpose for man in the very beginning was to live on earth in paradise conditions. That purpose will never change. And our God 
JEHOVAH cannot  lie.

To John , Jordan , Alicia and family,
   What I remember about Linda as a young woman is that she was thoughtful and generous . She loved her siblings . She was fun to be around and worked hard.  I remember going to her house on Bobo street in Berryville after she and John were married. The house was clean and neat and there was a radio plugged in and setting on the floor. She would listen to soft rock as she did her housework . After Alicia and Azia were born , she was always good to keep them clean and well dressed. She kept right up with them when they were toddlers no matter what they were doing. She adored them and really enjoyed caring for them.  I can still see her mother, Myrna ‘s big smile when she would talk about Alicia and Azia and how Linda and John were doing a good job caring for them.  Jehovah notices the love we show to our family and to others. He does not forget the love we show for his name . Linda built a lifetime  of giving and sharing with other people . One day soon in the resurrection , she will be with her beloved Azia again . Linda’s pain is over . As she sleeps , her beloved family can build trust in Jehovah and his Son , Jesus who has been given authority to call the dead back to life.  May he give John and the rest of the family who loved Linda peace and calm as they await the day when they will be with Linda and Azia again. It’s a promise.

The scriptures say that Jehovah created the woman to be a helper to their male partners and from what we knew about Linda, she was more than simply a helper but an anchor of love for her husband John and her family. My wife and I saw a couple who both Loved Jehovah and truly loved each other in a special way. Whenever I was with John in our volunteer work, not many occasions went by without a phone call from Linda to sincerely check on his welfare. We also saw a couple who willingly poured themselves out like a drink offering for the benefit of their humble and kind grandson, Jordan. We also saw a couple who lived up to their vows to care for eachother in sickness and in health. We regretfully didn’t get to spend as much time with Linda the way we would have liked to but  of what we did get to see was a woman of faith who loved her family and her God, her best friend. We look forward to the day when we can get to know Linda in full health and in sound mind. The imprint of her memory will never be forgotten by those whose lives she touched. The memory of her is now in the safest place possible and we can’t wait to see her abundantly joyful and experiencing true peace in the new world soon to come.

The first time I went to Clifton Arizona with Mario Gomez lender had a talk that night at the hall and I said what a beautiful looking sister and also I remember it’s a little embarrassing when I lived in a trailer by the King Hall Lindy took my under clothes and asked you could you wash them? I was so embarrassed. I couldn’t look at her in the face, but I learned that she’s very caring and she sure was very caring another time is when I went out in the ministry and I couldn’t. I didn’t have anything to eat and I say I’m gonna put Jehovah to the test and for some reason you guys called me up and asked would I wanna come over for dinner and when I was eating I remember I said you see how Jehovah  use you guys  to feed me  when  I put the kingdom first Jehovah  used  you to provide food for me that evening so I was really happy that Jehovah used you guys

John and Jordan and family.   Losing Linda was so tragic.  It is easy to think of Linda as she was so full of life and enjoying her spirited personality.  While she had been experiencing many health issues, the sudden and unexpected losing her in that way seems unreal.  Expecting to see her each day doing and saying certain things, her good sense of humor and hospitality lingers in our minds and hearts.  Having just communicated with her several times recently, only a few days prior as a matter of fact, it was such a shock to lose her so suddenly.  We know that you and Jordan will miss her terribly, the day-to-day interactions for a family so close may seem so empty for a long time unless you fill it with positive things until you see her again when she will be young, have vibrant health, be full of life and beautiful.  We so look forward to that day we will all enjoy seeing her.  Again, our deepest, deepest sympathy for the loss of our beloved Linda.

Thinking of my sister, Linda.
How can I say goodbye?
How will I go on without our phone calls, were we talked about everything and everybody.   She always managed to call when we were eating dinner, and I even miss that!
How will I go on missing the books we exchanged?  The murder mysteries we both loved to read.
I'll miss the makeup she always mailed to me.  She loved makeup, and  puzzles, playing scrabble, making fudge, and cleaning house was her thing.  
I know it's OK to hurt and it's OK to cry....  but how can I say goodbye?
I know time will ease my pain, and with Jehovah's help I won't have to say goodbye but...  Welcome Home!

Dear John, Jordan and family: 

We were  grateful to be at the service and to share a few words about our dear sister and friend Linda. She was one of the most generous, thoughtful friend always giving of her time, her heart, and her kindness. She was incredibly generous to me and to my daughter, and we cherished every moment we spent together.

One of my favorite stories she shared with us, when she hosted a late member of the GB at her home. All he wanted was a simple can of tomato soup — and to her total surprise, he even licked the bottom of the can lid so nothing would go to waste. When she told the story, we laughed together, a fond memory. 

Linda always looked beautiful, she was an expert on laundry and her home was extraordinary spotless. A caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Qualities, virtues and skills to imitate. 

She and  John were inseparable — a true team, always together — and their love was something beautiful to witness. 

Linda will be truly missed, until we hug again. Jehovah our loving father, will console John and family.

To My Dear Brother John,
Our hearts go out to you at this difficult time. I remember the first night you and Linda joined our congregation. It was such a transition for you both and it was a joy to have your love at the Cimmaron congregation. I talked to Linda every week at our midweek meeting and she was always so uplifting to me no matter what trial she was going through. I will truly miss her and am very thankful for the times we spent and the talks we had.

Only just met Linda for a short time, but Jehovah God knows how much I enjoyed all our long conversations. She was so sweet, always showing concern for my autistic daughter. 

It is with a heavy heart to say goodbye for now. Yet, I am eagerly looking forward to our forever friendship, and seeing her happily reunited with her dear ones, in full health.

We are so saddened by your great loss. Though we have not known Linda very long we will miss her dearly. We are comforted in knowing that she rests safely in Jehovah's memory. UNLV Graduation 2022 - Mom looked beautiful as always.

My grandma enjoyed coming to see us in Mesa Az and she would always light up when she’d see her great grandson (my son) Jax. She’d do anything to make him smile/laugh, she loved watching him swim in the pool, try to help him learn new words. The last video I took of her was May 27, 2025 & it’s of her and my son stacking some blocks in her hotel room. I watch it everyday. 🦋 She may be gone now but he will always know how much she loved and adored him!

          I am so very saddened about hearing of Linda’s passing.  I hate that this has happened but she in a much better place.  She is now with your daughter and other relatives.  The following days will be hard, but you have your faith  to help get you through this time.  And she isn’t hurting!!!!

She was the first born niece, and only three years younger than myself, so we became best buds and had wonderful times together. I will miss our telephone conversations. When she would call she would say” Cheryl I can only talk a few minutes.” And then two hours later she would hang up. I loved her dearly. She was a very unique and special woman. I will miss her very much but I know I will see her very soon.

Linda John and family I will always cherish the memories and Great times with you all growing up! 

My favorite memory about Linda is she hated  when Azia would bring me over to the house before she had her make up done! You would never see Linda with out her makeup or hair not done!  

They always welcome me as one of their daughters!

So sorry to hear this.  I have many fond memories of spending time with the Lechtenbergers as I grew up.  Linda made some awesome cookies (I guess they were cookies).  If my memory serves me correctly, they had chocolate, peanut butter, and I think oatmeal.  Anyway, whatever was in them I remember they were great!  Linda was a great person, and she will be dearly missed by all that new her.   We look forward to seeing her again in Paradise where death and suffering will be no more.  (Rev. 21:3,4)
