Loren “Jack” Baty born 09/06/1934 to Albert and Fern Baty in Kokomo, Indiana passed away 06/22/2014 at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Baty was a proud service member in the Air Force from which he retired after 21 years of service to become a department of defense civilian employee. Jack was preceded in death by his son Raymond A Baty, brothers Don, Raymond, and Pete, and two Sisters Barbara and Emma Rea. He is survived by his beloved wife Aida (US Army Retired), 3 daughters Julia Ann (George) Ross of Ohio, Dawn Baty (Granddaughter Lisa) of United Kingdom, and Drina Quimson of California; 1 son Michael Baty of California; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be held with full military honors on Sunday 05/29/2014 at Palm Mortuary – Downtown, 1325 N Main Street, Las Vegas, NV 89101 starting at 2:30pm; a light reception will be held at 5pm at the mortuary.
