Lorena Elizabeth Chain, 51, a loving, caring wife and mother of Las Vegas, and formerly of Sparks, Nevada, peacefully accepted God’s hand with her devoted husband by her side on Friday, June 22, 2012, and has been taken home to heaven. Lorena was born in San Salvador, El Salvador, and had been a resident of Las Vegas since 2009. Prior to Las Vegas, Lorena, her husband, and two daughters lived in Sparks, Nevada. Her survivors are her loving and devoted husband Alan Chain; daughters, Kelsey Chain and Jacqueline Chain; mother, Blanca Gomez; father, Ramon Gomez; sisters, Sandra Hurley and Cynthia Gomez; brother, Junior; mother-in-law, Florence Chain, along with many sister and brothers- in-law, as well as many nephew and nieces. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 5:00 pm at Palm Mortuary, 1600 South Jones Boulevard, Las Vegas, Nevada.
