Lourdes Granda Manabat

Lourdes Granda Manabat was born on February 11, 1947 in Tacloban City, Leyte, Philippines. She was one of 10 children to Rafael Granda and Aurora Ratcliffe Granda. She went to be with the Lord on August 7, 2021.

Lourdes is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Ernesto Manabat. Together they had 3 children, Cynthia Manabat (deceased), Ernell Manabat (deceased) and Christina Manabat Silva. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Lisa Manabat, 8 grandchildren, John-Phillip Silva, Alijah Silva, Isaiah Manabat, Desmond Manabat, Demetri Manabat, Dominic Manabat, Aviana Silva, and Derrick Manabat, her siblings, Dr. Aurorita Sumcad, Violeta Cuenca, Olivia Walker-Cochran, Fernando Granda, and Silvina Potter, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. She is preceded in death by her other siblings, Blanca Serafica, Jesse Granda, Rafael Granda Jr., and Benjamin Granda. She will be dearly missed by all.

Although her profession of 30 years as a Medical Technologist at Sunrise Hospital was important, it never came before her family and her Catholic faith. Services will be held on August 23 at Saint Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church.
