Lydia P. Marks, age 76, a homemaker, of Las Vegas, died on Friday, May 30, 2014 in Las Vegas. Born November 7, 1937 in Tierra Amarilla, New Mexico, she had been a Nevada resident for more than 50 years, having lived in Tonopah for 18 years prior to her return to Las Vegas. She was a former member of Our Lady of Las Vegas and currently of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy H. Marks, five brothers and sisters and son-in-law James Loncar. Survivors include her children Patricia Maier, Donna Bayne, Christine Loncar and Harry Marks; nine grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; brother Faustin, and sisters Maggie, Sylvia, Beatrice and Priscilla. Funeral mass will be held NOON Friday, June 6, 2014 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 1111 N. Michael Way. Visitation, 4-7pm Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Entombment, Palm Valley View Cemetery
