Mabel Manning

Mabel Lillian Manning, 86, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away Wednesday September 10, 2014. She was born February 15, 1928 to Edward and Helen Nelson. She was married to Forrest (Bud) Manning December 23, 1950. Mabel was preceded in passing by her husband and sister Clara May Casteel. She is survived by her sister Betty Trumpower, her daughter Beverly Manning, her son Lloyd Manning, daughter-in-law Renee Manning, 7 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Mabel will be best remembered for her zest for life, care for her family, and countless hours given to her church in service. She was a highly accomplished and avid bowler and served on multiple WBA committees including treasurer twice. Her other passion was golf, taken up at the age of 65. In her younger years she was also a great softball player and slalom water skier. Mom we love you and miss you. A memorial service will be held in her honor Saturday September 27th, 2014 at 10:00AM at the Spring Valley Baptist Church 3135 So. Rainbow Blvd. Las Vegas, Nevada.
