

Maria Eugenia Herrera Reveles, a caring and devoted woman whose life was defined by love, strength, and selflessness, passed away on April 3, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born on September 13, 1966, in Zacatecas, Mexico, to her beloved parents, Nicolas Reveles and Ana Maria Reveles Herrera.
Maria Eugenia was known for her warm heart and unwavering positivity. She lived her life as a loving, humble, and family-oriented woman who always put others before herself. Independent, brave, and courageous, she faced life’s challenges with quiet strength and grace, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved shopping—especially for the best clearance sales—gardening beautiful flowers, and expressing her creativity through knitting, painting, crafting flowers, and solving puzzles. Maria Eugenia was also a gifted cook, known for her delicious homemade meals, including her cherished recipes for pozole, tacos, birria, and her signature frijoles, which brought family and friends together around the table. She enjoyed attending concerts, especially mariachi music, which connected her to her roots and brought her great happiness.
Her faith was an important part of her life. For over 15 years, she was a dedicated member of St. Christopher Catholic Church in Las Vegas, where she actively participated and found joy in church festivals and community gatherings.
Above all, Maria Eugenia was a devoted caregiver to her mother, demonstrating her deep compassion and sense of duty. Her love for her family was boundless, and she will be remembered as the heart of her family.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 28 years, Agustin Gomez; her father, Nicolas Reveles; and her brother, Humberto Reveles.
She is survived by her loving children, Guadalupe Gomez Reveles, Claudia Gomez Reveles, and Iban Gomez; her mother, Ana Maria Reveles; and her 14 siblings, all of whom will continue to honor her legacy of love, kindness, and resilience.
Visitation will be held at Palm Mortuary - Northwest, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131, US, on April 15, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will take place at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 1840 N Bruce St, North Las Vegas, NV 89030, US, on April 16, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
A Committal Service will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1500 Las Vegas Blvd N, Las Vegas, NV 89101, US, on April 16, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
