Marita Jean Hernandez, age 66, a hair stylist of Las Vegas passed away December 7, 2016. She was born August 14, 1950 in Wichita, Kansas and had been a resident of Nevada for 64 years. Marita enjoyed her family and friends, especially the time spent with her grandchildren. She was well liked and loved by her family and friends for her loving nature and kind heart. Marita was generous with her love and time. Her spiritual beliefs were a gift to anyone who needed her guidance. She will be missed by all that loved her. Marita is survived by her three children, Armando, Leza and Miguel Rodriguez; five grandchildren, Joseph Rodriguez-Valenzuella, Madyson Rodriguez, Stella Galik, Jordan Rodriguez, and Kash Rodriguez; two sisters, Judy (Peter) Cicchetti and Vicki Lister. A celebration of life will be held in her honor on Tuesday, December 13th at 1pm at Palm South Jones Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146.
