Mary Ann Loffredo

Mary Ann Loffredo, 89, of Brooklyn, New York, died on October 30, 2024. She was born on September 4, 1935 to Joseph and Theresa Ripepi. Mary Ann attended cosmetology school and applied her trade skill for many years following. She married Frank Loffredo on January 30, 1954 and they had four children, Theresa, Doreen, John and Frank Jr. In 1975 Mary Ann and Frank divorced and Mary Ann ventured out to Las Vegas to fulfill her dream of opening and operating a beauty shop. During the years that followed, she worked as a PBX operator, a store clerk at McCarran Airport, and a casino soft count clerk for various hotels on the Las Vegas strip where she reconciled and reported the table drop boxes on a daily basis. During her long life in Las Vegas Mary Ann enjoyed spending time with her partner Tony playing morning bingo, poker machines, shopping and cooking. Mary Ann also enjoyed painting, crocheting and bible study.

Mary Ann is survived by her children Theresa, Doreen and Frank, her grandchildren Melissa, Michael, Kevin, Scott, Danny and Steven, her great grandchildren Nate, Ariana, Mia, Gigi, Liam, Ryan, Brandon, Frankie, Elizabeth, Christopher, Addison, Noah, and her great-great granddaughter, Audrey. She was preceded in death by Joseph and Theresa Ripepi, Frank Loffredo Sr., Tony Astarita, and John Loffredo.

Funeral services will be held on November 22, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
