LaVerne Bohan, 89, of Las Vegas, passed away on Aug. 3, 2013. LaVerne was born July 20, 1924 to Harry and Josephine Meyers in Fort Thomas, KY. Mom was preceded in death by her husband Danny Bohan, they were married for 56 years, and her son Gary Bohan. LaVerne is survived by her sister Iris Rottinghaus of KY; brother Harry Meyers (Dottie) of Las Vegas; brother Leo Meyers (Maureen) of KY; her children, Danny Bohan, Jr., Kathy (Bud) Spach and Michael Bohan, all of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Danny, Kelly, Kaitlin, Matthew and Gabriella; great-grandaughter, Gweneth; step-grandchildren, Debbie (Russ), Danny (Denise); step-great-grandchildren, Bryan and Jillian.
Visitation will be held at Palm Mortuary Downtown, 1325 N. Main St. from 5 pm to 7 pm on Friday, August 9, 2013.
Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Dr. at 1 pm on Saturday, August 10, 2013.
Wake to follow at Elks Lodge, 4050 W. Charleston Blvd.
