Mary Lou Hanna, 68, fought a long, hard battle with cancer. Our beloved Mary Lou passed away, Thursday, May 26, 2011, at Solari Hospice with her family at her side. Mary Lou was born Dec. 8, 1942, in Reno, to Roy C. Seitzler and Luella Seitzler, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Daryl B. Hanna, his wife, Shawna, and their children, Hendrix and Mina; her brother, Robert Seitzler and his wife, Mary; her sister, Becky Lewellin and her husband, Larry; aunt, Donna Erickson, all of Reno; along with uncle, Jim Stratton of Minden; her adopted sister and closest friend, Jackie Grove of Las Vegas; and Brian Norton, who was like a son to Mary Lou. She also has several nieces, nephews and cousins; along with many very close friends, all of whom she loved. Mary Lou moved to Las Vegas in 1968. Here she worked for many years for J.A. Tiberti Construction Co., ASI and for Gatsky Commercial Properties. Mary Lou was such a kind, loving person and a wonderful mother and grandmother always providing a caring, warm home. Mary Lou had a special love for her son that stretched further than a mother's love - her love was truly unconditional. She was loved by everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. She will always be in our hearts and she will be missed so very, very much. A very big thank you to the wonderful caregivers of Solari Hospice, Angie, Yolanda and Ruckel, who made Mary Lou's time comfortable and loving.
