Mary Rose Rafferty Scott Sou

Mary Rose Rafferty Scott Sou, age 82, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Wednesday September 11, 2019. Mary was born May 20, 1937 in Glasgow, Scotland to Helen Timothy Scott and John Scott. On April 14, 1962 in Middlesex, London, she married Frederick Ling Gea Nim Sou.

Mary is survived by; son Edward John Nim Sou of Las Vegas, NV; daughter-in-law Jenny Schy Sou; grandchild Frederick Martin Sou; daughter Robin Lynn Sou Keller of Jacksonville, FL; son-in-law Brian Scott Keller; grandchildren Jordan Rae Keller, Jason Scott Keller, and Justin Frederick Keller; great grandchild Grayson Michael Snyder; son John Frederick Sou of Las Vegas, NV; daughter-in-law Michelle Leavitt Sou; grandchildren Madilyn and Taylor Cole, Morgan and Max Leavitt Fitzpatrick; great grandchild Landon Leavitt Iovino; daughter Deborah Kim Sou of Las Vegas, NV; grand dogs Chief, Zorro, Starky (Bunny), and Loki; daughter Candice Elizabeth Sou of Las Vegas, NV; son-in-law Jesse Dean Howerton (deceased); grandchildren Sinjin Jacob Odal Howerton and Sonora Penelope Rose Howerton; daughter Jennifer Lee Sou of Las Vegas, NV; son-in-law Joseph Andrew Green; grandchildren Anakin Michael Sou and Aden Fedor Yarbrough; brother Francis Hart of Great Yarmouth, England; niece and nephew Angela and Spencer Vanderpal of Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Frederick Ling Gea Nim Sou; father John Scott and mother Helen Timothy Scott.

Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who unselfishly devoted her life to her family. She loved watching football, dancing to music, and the outdoors. She also had a great sense of humor.

A memorial service for Mary will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada 89131. A cremation will occur at Palm Mortuary Crematory, 1330 N. Main St., Las Vegas, Nevada 89131.
