

Maude Effie Kelley, born February 22, 1921 in St. Louis Missouri, Mother Denotra Parker (Deceased), Father William Parker (Deceased), Husband Julian Kelley Sr. preceded her in death. She entered into marriage January 16, 1942. She had two children, Son Julian Kelley Jr. (Deceased), Wife Charlotte Kelley of San Francisco California and Daughter Gloria Pitts, husband Richard Pitts of Las Vegas Nevada. Brothers James, Louis, Earl and Curtis Parker, Sisters Jeanette Jordan and Inez Heron preceded her in death. One surviving sister Delores Cowlings, Los Angeles California. Ms Kelley accepted the Lord at an early age and praised him all of her life. Occupation: Employment coordinator in St. Louis MO, Hair Stylist and Master Tailor, she did many clothing alterations. Education: Attended Sumner High School in St. Louis MO, Poro School of Beauty College and Harris Stowe Teachers college where she studied business administration. Retired at age 80 years old. Remained active working with community and church. Organizations: Sisters of Ruth Guild, from Central Baptist Church, St. Louis MO Ms Kelley clothed and fed the homeless for many years every Tuesday at Central Baptist Church, St. Louis, MO. Special Hobbies: Ms Kelley loved flowers, always had a Rose Garden in her yard. She loved sewing and made many clothes for both men and women. She made suits for many entertainers and minsters robes. Her clothes were used in many fashion shows in St. Louis MO. She leaves one Grand Daughter Michelle Brown, 4 Great Grandchildren Julian Owens, Kelvin Brown, Jenard Brown and Jenice Brown and 1 Great Great Grandson Julian Owens II and host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
