Michelle Shappie

Michelle Lee King Shappie “Granmier”, age 71, of Las Vegas, NV, passed from this world on September 3, 2025. She was born on October 21, 1953, in California. Throughout her life, she worked in many roles, but she was most cherished as a dedicated homemaker.

Michelle is survived by her son, Michael (Michelle), and her grandchildren: Leah (Rodrigo), Jessica (Michael), Koryssa (Christopher), Daniel, Aaron (Shyanne), Brittnai, Christopher, Lauryn, and Blake and great-grandchildren: Allison, Trevor, McKenna, Adam, Elliot, Flynn, Paxton, Lane, Henry, Jasper, and Avory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Lee Roy; her beloved husband, Larry; her daughter, Linda; her sisters, Lois, Lucretia, Katie, and Jody; and her great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Dillin.

Michelle will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, being outdoors, tending her garden, spending time at the lake, arranging flowers, and baking for her loved ones during the holidays.

A visitation for Michelle will be held Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 9:00 AM followed by Graveside Service at 11:00 AM all at Palm Downtown Mortuary & Cemetery, 1325 N Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
