Prior to her move to Las Vegas 3 years ago, she was active in the American Legion in Chino Valley AZ. She was also a member of the Beta Theta chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha which is a philanthropic organization where she served her community for over 30 years. Nancy retired from AT&T in 1997.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Sam, her parents and her twin brother Jimmy. She was survived by her sons Scott and Ted Bird, daughters Karen Barr and Kelley Long, 10 Grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, numerous Nieces, nephews and friends.
Nancy and Sam were married for 38 years and are dancing together once again.
