

Nancy was born on October 28, 1963 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Oroncio and Josephine Medina. Raised in San Diego, California, she graduated from Madison High School where she participated and was the captain of the marching band’s Flag and Banner Corps.
In 1985, Nancy moved to Las Vegas, NV with her former husband Richard Taylor. She spent her professional career as a human resources professional in the hospitality industry. She loved her work and derived a significant amount of satisfaction from helping others attain jobs and grow their careers.
A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, Nancy “Nana” Taylor is survived by her children Richard (Rachel) Taylor, Jr., Rachel Hoven, and Ryan Taylor, her grandchildren Jakob Hoven, Jaxon Hoven, Leah Taylor, Josephine Taylor, Jaylen Campbell, and Marissa Perez. She also leaves behind her four siblings JoAnn Medina, Oroncio Medina, Jr., Merlyn Johnson, and Marcela Medina, as well as countless extended family, friends, and colleagues.
Aside from spending time with her family and friends, Nancy was passionate about traveling, experiencing new delicious foods, helping others, and taking long walks. She was her family’s foundation and could always be depended on. Her ability to connect with others was unrivaled. She will be so greatly missed by all who knew her.
