

Nellie was raised in Benton, Arkansas. She graduated from Dunbar High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1954. Nellie relocated from Benton to California in 1959. In 1962, she met her beloved Claud. They were united in Holy Matrimony in Los Angeles, California, on November 26, 1966.
Claud and Nellie welcomed their beloved son, Tony, into the world on November 9, 1970. Nellie dedicated 27 years of her life serving at Harbor General Hospital in Torrance, California, before retiring in 1992.
Nellie had a passion for cooking and hosting family and friends. Nellie also loved traveling, sightseeing, fishing, camping, and shopping. She cherished every moment of her adventures.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her devoted husband of 55 years Claud Davison. Nellie leaves behind a legacy of love and beautiful memories. She is survived by her loving son, Anthony Davison, and three cherished grandchildren: Ayanna, Jahleel , and Anthony Jr. She is also survived by her sister, Martha House (Charles), and her brothers, Parnell Fisher (Vermond (deceased) and Jay Fisher (Lovie),as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mrs. Nellie Joyce Davison will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
"Mom, you were a remarkable woman with a unique gift for being an extraordinary wife, mother and grandmother. Your presence radiated boundless love and vitality within our family, filling our lives with joy and gratitude. You dedicated yourself wholeheartedly to ensuring our happiness, and we are eternally grateful for the blessings you bestowed upon us.
Mom, your incredible qualities deserve daily celebration. I appreciate every moment you spent nurturing me and cherish the countless smiles and warm feelings you brought into my life.
Though you have left this earthly realm, your spirit lives on in our hearts, a constant reminder of the love and kindness you shared. Your memory will forever be a source of inspiration and comfort.
I love you, Mom, and I will forever hold you close in my heart. Your legacy of love and devotion will continue to shine brightly in our lives.
