Nenita was born in the Philippines and later made her home in the United States, becoming a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1988. She lived a life defined by kindness, cooperation, and unwavering support for those she loved. She was especially devoted to her husband, Phillip Holsey, Jr., whom she married on November 24, 1982. For 42 years, Nenita stood faithfully by his side, fully supporting him in all aspects of life.
A loving and caring woman, Nenita embraced her family wholeheartedly. She loved her stepchildren as her own and was known for her generous spirit. Though very frugal by nature, she was always willing to help others whenever she could. Her home reflected her character—warm, welcoming, and impeccably clean, as she was known as the neatest and most organized person anyone could know.
Nenita enjoyed a life rich with simple pleasures. She was an avid reader, especially fond of books by Rachel Maddox, including Breakout. She also loved to travel and explored much of the United States, with memorable trips to Disney World, Korea, and Hawaii. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family.
Nenita is survived by her son, Abon, and her three step-sons, Dereck, Daryl, and Gregory. She leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and quiet strength that will be remembered by all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
