Nicholas Ray Hansen

Nicholas (Nick) was born January 7, 1987 in Carson City, Nevada. He was living in Stead, NV until his family moved to Las Vegas in April of 1990 where he attended school and eventually graduated from CSN High School with honors.

Nick started a career in the towing industry at the age of 19. He dedicated his working career to Tow Guys, helping managers and drivers to build a family type relationship with vendors. He met Mariana and they began dating in 2012. Nick also began a path to become a son of God on August 9, 2012. Nick and Mariana were married in November 2013. In 2014 they welcomed their first child, Eli and in 2016 they welcomed their daughter Alyssa. Nick always did his best to provide for his family. He was hard working and dedicated, and it afforded Mariana the opportunity to stay home with their children.

Beside the love of family and God, Nick was passionate at any new adventure that came his way, whether shooting, archery, fishing, wood working or any other skill he could gain, he would practice and perfect himself. He included his children in many adventures, he loved spoiling them and giving them memories to last a lifetime.

Nick will be remembered for his loyalty, dedication, reliability, humor and telling it like it was, whether right or not. He also had a BIG heart that would give the shirt off his back and loved serving his community. No matter the time or circumstance, he was there. The loss of Nick will be felt near and far.

Besides his wife and children, Nicholas leaves behind his loving and dedicated parents Ron and Teresa Woods, brother Christopher Hansen, nephews Jacob, Makani, Lucas and Kanaan. Loving In-laws Francisco and Yolanda Borbon, Troy (brother-in-law and best friend) & Gloriana Arias & Frankie Borbon. Grandparents Bill and Sandy Lyons. Uncles – Ray (namesake), Brian and Chris. Aunts – Dawn, Tracy, Kim and Crystal and many cousins. Nick also has many close friends that left a mark in his heart, Jeff, Cory, Autum, KK, John and Pastors Jose, Tony and David.

A funeral service for Nicholas will be held Monday, January 9, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131. Following the funeral service will be a committal service at 1:00 PM at Palm Northwest Cemetery, 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131.
