Patricia Jane Ritchie

PATRICIA RITCHIE Patricia Jane Ritchie, 74, passed away July 10, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Patti was born July 7, 1943, in Cherokee, Oklahoma, where she graduated from Cherokee High School and went on to earn a degree from Northwestern Oklahoma State. She married her love, Brigadier General James E. Ritchie, Sept. 27, 1969, in Oklahoma. They were blessed with three children that she dedicated her life to raising. After living in Potomac, Maryland for over 15 years they finally called Las Vegas home in 1989, where they proudly were a part of the community for years. Patti will be greatly missed by her family, her friends and her church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lydia Geis; and her husband, James E. Ritchie. Patti is survived by her loving sister, Gloria Cisna; sons, Ian (Diana) and Alexander (Katherine); daughter, Shana (Todd) Venenga; and five grandchildren, Mackenzie Ritchie, Lukas Ritchie, Logan Venenga, Grant Venenga and Brooke Venenga. Celebration of her life will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, at Shadow Hills Baptist Church, 7811 Vegas Drive.
