Patrick Malon

Patrick G. Malon, 79, died peacefully at home on June 24, 2017. Patrick is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Karen and children Patrice (Mike) Mooe Sr., from Killeen, TX, Ann (David) Slavkin of Centennial, CO, Mark Pruitt of Las Vegas, NV, and Kami (Megan) Malon Sanders of St. Louis, MO. In addition, he was a grandfather to Michael E. Mooe Jr., Matthew Mooe, Robert Mooe, Zachary Slavkin, Tova Slavkin, Isaac Slavkin and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Patricia (Jim) Dodson of Oak Hills, CA, Nieces Sandy (Dan) McMaster, and Tammy (Tom) Clyde. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents and brother. Patrick was born on March 11, 1938. He graduated from Basic High School in Henderson. During the early years of his career Patrick served in the U.S. Navy from March 11, 1955 to March 10, 1959 and was assigned to the USS Saratoga. He was proud to have worked on the Henderson Police Department and Nevada State Highway Patrol. Patrick enjoyed bowling, golf, competitive pistol shooting, and spending time with his family. Patrick was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend to many.
