Patrick Leo Walsh, 75, of Las Vegas, passed away 10/16/2013. He battled Parkinson’s disease which he had for the last 8 years. He was living in Dublin, Ohio for the past 4 years with his niece and her husband, Doreen and Shawn Metzler. He was a type-setter-printer and retired to Las Vegas about 20 years ago. He is survived by his brothers, James Walsh of Las Vegas and Noel Walsh of Dublin, Ireland; his nieces, Doreen Metzler and Sheila Walsh; his nephews, Michael Walsh, Brian Walsh, and Denis Walsh; and other relatives. He was a very loving uncle, brother, and friend to all. He was very kind, gentle natured, sensitive, and always willing to help others in need. He was a faithful catholic for all his life; he loved the church, and often prayed for the needs of others. He was born 2/14/1938 in Dublin, Ireland and came to the U.S. in the 1960’s. He had 4 brothers and 1 sister. He will be deeply missed by all. A Mass will be offered for him on Thursday, October 24 at 12:00pm at St. Joseph Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. with burial to follow at Palm Northwest Cemetery, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.
