Peggie Lou Wadley-Free

Peggie L. Wadley, a beloved great-grandmother, grandmother, mother, and friend to all, passed away on October 4, 2025, in Las Vegas, NV. She was 94.

She lived her life guided by faith and filled with love. To everyone who knew her, she was a gentle presence—always welcoming, always giving more of herself than she ever asked in return. Her home was a place of comfort and kindness, where laughter was shared around the table and no one ever felt like a stranger. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures: hours spent piecing together puzzles, a closet brimming with colorful yarn for her many knitting projects, and a garden that bloomed as beautifully as the love she poured into her family. Her legacy is one of devotion, generosity, and grace—an example of a life well lived and a heart that touched so many.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Wadley, her son James Wadley, and her grandson Brian Viss.

She is survived by her daughter Sondra Viss, grandson Derran Viss and his wife Bronia, grandson Jarad Viss, granddaughter Angela Taylor and her husband Chris, and granddaughter Sarah Sayers and her husband Cullen, and granddaughter Frances Kay Brown and her husband Kelly. Peggie also leaves behind a lasting and impactful legacy to her 10 great-grandchildren

Pallbearers will be Kelly Brown, Cullan Sayers, Chris Taylor, Collin Taylor, Gavin Taylor, Derran Viss, and Jarad Viss.

Visitation will be 11:00 am, Friday, October 24, 2025, at Palm Mortuary Northwest.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, October 24, 2025, at Palm Mortuary Northwest with Bradley Hamilton of Centerpoint Church officiating.

Burial will follow at Palm Northwest Cemetery.
