

Pete Capolupo, 93, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 6. 2026. He was born in Pennsylvania and was a son born on Oct. 21, 1932 to the late John and Carmela Panebianco Capolupo. He graduated High School and then went into the Army where he served through the end of the Korean war. He was proud to serve our country. Pete loved and took care of his family and never missed a birthday or Sunday phone call. Pete loved betting on race horses and going to a Casino to hang out with his buddies. He co owned a race horse at one time in CA that did win a race. Pete also loved to spend time with his daughter and son-in-law and go out to dinner with them and play the video poker machines. Pete also loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and watching football games. Pete lived in Southern California near Huntington Beach for nearly 30 plus years before moving to Las Vegas. Pete attended live horse racing frequently when in CA at Santa Anita Park and Hollywood Park; he would often bring his daughter with him. Pete always was proud of his employment at Whirlpool, Corporation and everyone that knew him heard of the many stories from that time in his life. He was a territory manager in Los Angeles, Ca and won a National Salesman of the Year award; he worked there for most of his adult life until his early retirement. Pete loved to chat with others, and he also loved to dance and travel (especially cruising). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rose Sitko, brother, Frank Capolupo, ex -wife, Johnnie Dobbins, and life partner, Margaret DeCarlo. Pete is survived by his daughter, Arione (Todd); two sisters, Antonetta( Dick), and Joanna( Kurt); two nephews, Marc(Valerie) and Chris(Kim); Brother in law Bob.
