Raymond Gamble

Raymond Gamble Sr., age 86, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his family on October 29, 2024.  Raymond was born February 14, 1938, in Hubbard, Texas to the late Georgia Lee Gamble and William F. Gamble. Raymond graduated from Phyllis Wheatley High School in Hubbard, Texas and then began his professional career in the construction industry.  He relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada for work opportunities in 1965. Raymond retired from his last employer the City of North Las Vegas.  He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Iva Gail and their four children: Raymond Gamble Jr., LaDeana Gamble, Donna M. Gamble, and Traci Gamble-Peterson; his sisters Ada Clark, Dr. Clarissa Booker, Doris Price, Marva Lynn, Joanna Gamble, and Janice Richardson; brothers James Gamble, William Gamble, Ronald Gamble, and Donald Gamble. Preceding him in death were his parents Georgia Lee Gamble and William Gamble; sisters Nelda Gamble, Rochelle Gamble, Mochelle Gamble, and Brenda Gamble; brothers Gene Gamble and Clarence Gamble. He will be missed by his five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.  We would like to acknowledge his sisters-in-law Octavia Bush and Mary Gamble; grandson Raymond Gamble; nephew Clarence E. Gamble Esq.; niece Melissa Ray; with whom he had special relationships.

A visitation for Raymond will be held Friday, November 8, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at New Jerusalem Worship Center, 1818 N M.L.K. Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89106, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
