Wilma and family, my heartfelt condolences to you- I always appreciated Rich's warm, genuine friendship. He will be missed. I'm thinking and praying for you- I'm grateful to have known Rich, and to call you my friends.

Just learned of Richard's death. I worked with him at the Skokie Fire Department where he was known as "Tag" and/or "Tagaluch" . He was a great guy to know, with a good sense of humor. I lost contact after he  moved on to the Las Vegas area. In reading the posts, I can tell that he was loved and will be missed by everyone. Condolences to the entire family.

I Miss you so much buddy. You were the best friend, mentor, advise giver and the best grandfather. I will miss the times we spent together watching TV, eating a meal together, and talking about cars. It's going to be hard not going on without you. But I know you are happy now and are with the Lord. I just wish you were here so much. Without you I wouldn't be the man I am today. The time we spent together I will cherish and remember forever. I love you and I miss you buddy.

My Dearest Wilma,

I can't put into words the feeling of loss and sadness we all feel at this time.  Richard was my best friend, best man at my wedding and the Angel God sent to introduce me to the Lord. I am eternally grateful.

It's a rare thing for men to become best friends late in life.  He and I talked everyday.  He loved his family more than he knew how to express.

He is with God now. Know that he is happy.  We will all miss him terribly. There is no place he would rather be than in Heaven.
