Robert Henry Brettschneider

It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Robert Henry Brettschneider, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, who passed away on December 16th, 2024 at the age of 90.

Robert, better know as "Sam" by those who loved him, was a remarkable man whose life was marked by kindness, friendship, hard work and a tireless commitment to others. He was a constant presence in the lives of his family and friends, sharing love, wisdom, and stories with warmth to all who knew him. His greatest role was a grandfather to his beloved granddaughter Jacqueline. A dedicated professional, he completed one professional career at Richard Rush Studio, creating life size models in Chicago, Illinois then to proudly devote 34 years to Jim Marsh Automotive in Las Vegas, Nevada where he made many long lasting friendships throughout the years.

Robert was preceded in death by his father Carl Brettschneider, mother Emma Schleif, brothers John Brettschneider, Carl Brettschneider, sisters Loretta Hamilton, Loraine Gruening, son Robert Harry Brettschneider and wife ChakPing "Connie" Brettschneider. Robert is survived by his sister Florence Chance, brothers Tom Brettschneider and Randy Brettschneider, daughter Judy Brettschneider, son William Brettschneider and cherished granddaughter Jacqueline and a host of nieces and nephews.

Robert will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, kindness and service will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A visitation for Robert will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Cheyenne, 7400 West Cheyenne Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89129. A graveside will occur Friday, January 17, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Palm Northwest Mortuary & Cemetery, 6701 N Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131.
