We are so sorry for your loss.  We are so grateful for the time that we spent together during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the weekend trips we took together.

To the Cardosi family my heart goes out to you sorry it has taken this long to write you. I am thankful to have known  Bob and want to thank him for the christmas i spent with him when i had nobody to spend the day with he opened his home and made me feel welcome . R.I.P.

To Cardosi Family,
Looking back at how much time and knowledge I have gained working together with Bob, well over 9 years. When I became an apprentice slot tech I was very fortunate to work dayshift with Bob and over those years Bob shared his skill and technics. He was a great mentor and his teaching were simple as long as you were willing to learning and be hands on, he would take a moment give you his helping hand. Bob was an excellent tech whose skills were many times looked upon. If a problem appeared to be endless Bob somehow found the solution.  
Over the years Bob not only shared his work but also his experiences in life and being a family man he was always trying to point me to the right direction with my children as these generations change and become more technical. 
Bob will be missed not only work but also at my family gatherings. Although Bob was unable to physically attend my son's birthday party, many of us knew he was present with his Samuel Adams in his hand.

Lorie, Sharon and I were so sorry to hear about Bob and his illness.  I am so thankful that we were able to reconnect after all these years, and I thoroughly enjoyed sharing stories and laughter with Bob during those visits!  I will always remember the time spent with Bob in North Carolina, Vietnam, and Japan. Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.

Robert Cardosi was one of those few great men. Very kind and caring. Always there to help in any way he could. One of the truest purest hearts I've had the privilege of knowing. He was the kind of husband, father, and man I hope to be. He'll be greatly missed by the many lives he touched.

I wish I had more of a chance to spend time with my father in law, and the chance to be a little more part of his life. Although my time with him was cut short I still grew to love him, as well as love seeing him with his granddaughter Serenity. You will always be loved and missed and you will never leave our hearts dad.

I only had the privilege of knowing Bob for a short time but I will truly miss him. He had a great sense of humor! If Blade could type, I know he'd want to share his special bond with Bob, how much they loved each other. Bob will always be in our hearts!

My friend was the only man with whom I could share my deepest secrets and know they'd be safe. Time with him was always good. I cherished him.

Bob was all of those things and more to me. I'm so thankful he came into my world, for if he hadn't, I'm sure I never would have known the kind of happiness he brought into my life. I love him so very much.

Lori, Jane and I send our thoughts and prayers to you and your family. It was an honor to have served with Bob in Viet Nam.  Little did we know that 45 years ago when Bob accepted the  responsibility to take on the extra challenge to be part of the team to put together our Cruise Book for the '69-70' crew of VMA(AW)533 that he would become such a part of all of our lives.  That hard work has brought 133 Marines and their families together to be able to have remembrance in the forms of a roster and the attendance at reunions. Bob,thank you so much for having been part of my life back then.  You are a fine friend, family man and Outstanding Marine

My Dad was more than a father he was a great man always giving a bit of himself to everyone he met. I will miss him very much but a day won't go by that I won't think of him. As cousins, we were all pretty close and did a lot of stuff together.  Birthday parties, picnics, trips to Chicago now and again.  I am glad we all had those times, I remember them fondly.   I am thinking of a particular day Bobby and I had gone to a movie, and we walked home together.  It was cold and I had not worn gloves.  He took his off and gave them to me, and walked with his hands in his pockets. We were probably about 12 yrs. old.  But that is how I remember him, warm, quiet and very sweet.  I will miss him and carry these memories  always

What we remember best about Bob was his love of hockey. Whether the kids Outlaw games, the high school games, the UNLV games and even the adult Wolves....Bob was always up for a game or two. While Lorie and I would sit and chat, Bob would not miss a good play or a goal (and he would gladly fill us in when we missed it!) We have loved knowing Bob and enjoyed our games in Vegas and all over the Southwest, our dinners out and in our homes, and watching all our boys grow into young men. We will miss Bob dearly.

Bobby and I  use to walk to the city pool during the summer and spend the day .  We also went to Sat. Movies for kids hopeing to win the drawing for the bike. We never did win.  As teens the four oldest cousins  would  listen to Bobby play this guitar.  He always played Wipe Out for us.  I have so many memories  of Bob, I will truely miss him.

Lori, Lynn and I are very sorry for your loss.  Bob was a class act and a great Marine.

I am so glad that our parents were close to each other so that we (cousins) grew up knowing each other so well.  Not a holiday, graduation, wedding or birthday went by without getting together.  We knew each other like brothers and sisters.  

Bobby always had a smile and was in a good mood.  I remember him playing his guitar and giving lessons in the afternoon after school.

One time Bobby, John and I were in Bobby's room with Grandma Dandurand's old records and we had permission  to play with them.  Mom and Aunt Lucille thought we were listening to them on the record player.  Instead we were breaking them over each others head like the Three Stooges.  Boy did we get into trouble when Mom and Aunt Lucille came in the room.  Plus we had a BIG mess to clean.  

I will miss Bobby so very much.  May God Bless Everyone!

I loved Uncle Bob very much but beyond that i really liked him as a person. He and my wolf had a special relationship and if i didn't know anything else about him that would be enough.

Bob is not gone, he's jut gone ahead.

Please accept our deepest  sympathy  on the lose of Bob.  I served with in Vietnam, I don't remember much about him, memory isn't what it use to be, but he was a good Marine,  Jack Tomkins (Tracks), Philly, PA.

Although I don't remember very much about Bob (it's been over 40 years) I share your sorrow at his passing.  May the peace of God, which passes all understanding, keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.  You, his family and his friends are in my prayers.  God bless and comfort you all.

Dearest Lori and family,I'm am saddened and so sorry for your lose! Bob was wonderful friend during our time together in the Marines and I thought of his great personality often through the years and enjoyed looking at the pictures of him from those times.May God watch over his soul and give you all ever lasting peace!
