

Bob is remembered by his friends and family for his humor and generosity. He proudly achieved Eagle Scout as a boy, then served as an adult leader for the Boy Scouts of America. After high school he served in the U.S. Army as a radioman. He graduated from Tri-State University, Indiana. Bob moved his family to Las Vegas in 1957. He worked at the Nevada Test Site as an electrical engineer for the nuclear testing program. He invented several testing instruments which received U.S. patents. He retired as a property manager for the Department of Energy. Bob invented and patented the predecessor to the present day barcode scanners. He owned Invecom Systems which manufactured and marketed inventory control systems. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, bowling, golfing, and traveling. He is preceded in death by his father, Newton Clemensen, mother Floy (Knaus) Clemensen, brother Owen Clemensen, sister Virginia (Clemensen) Rhoton, and by his first wife Mary Lou (Gregory) Clemensen. He is survived by his wife Kathleen (Mathena) Clemensen, sons Greg Clemensen and Doug Clemensen, daughters Jan (Clemensen) Wagner and Lynne (Clemensen) Gossett, step-son Erik Johansen, grandchildren Mathew Wagner (Rose), Ashley Wagner, Roy Gossett (Kamy), Jessica Gossett, great-grandchildren Rylan Gossett, Paityn Gossett, and his beloved dog, Griffen.
