Robert L. Cummings, 79, of Las Vegas, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2011. He was born June 20, 1932, in Box, Okla. Robert served in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years during the Korean War. After military service, he worked for Trans World Airlines and then as a security officer at several Las Vegas casinos before retiring. Robert is survived by his wife, of 50 years, Margaret P. Cummings; daughter, Laurel Forsness; son, Bobby Cummings; stepdaughter, Francene Larrimer; stepson, Lewis R. Crouse II; sister, Bernice Collette; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. In lieu of flowers, feel free to donate to SPCA International or your favorite charity.
