

He was born on October 27, 1935, in Flint, Michigan to Robert Hartman Sr. and Hazel Hartman. As a young man of 17 years old, he made his way from Flint, Michigan to his lifelong home in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he had a 47 year long and extremely successful career as Vice President of Sales for Cashman Equipment Co.
Robert (known by his friends and family as Bob) was a man defined by his strength, kindness, hard work, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. He built a life rooted in hard work, generosity, and integrity—values he passed on to his children and grandchildren. Robert lived in Las Vegas for 73 years surrounded by family and friends. He loved water skiing, riding horses, hunting, fishing and supporting his two daughters in their many equestrian events. After his retirement, he and the love of his life, Carma, traveled the world and then spent many wonderful years traveling to all 50 states in their RV.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Carma Hartman, and his cherished daughters: Jacqueline Montoya and her husband Timothy Montoya, Kathryn Bouvier and her husband Michael Bouvier, as well as his step children.
Karmalee Yardley and her husband Russell Yardley, Michelle Beckwith and her husband Pat Beckwith, and Monte Brown and his wife, Annette Brown. He is also survived by his sister, Sally Parker and her husband, Phil Parker, as well as his brother, William Hartman and his wife, Judith Hartman.
Robert was also a loving grandfather to Robert Bouvier, Nicholas Bouvier, Alexander Montoya, Michael Montoya, Matthew Brown, Mandy Hansen, Ryan Yardley, Adrianne Ludlow, Justin Yardley, Jake Yardley, Cindy Howell, Jaclyn Kerouac, Taylor Beckwith, Scott Beckwith, and Sydney Beckwith, as well as 27 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immeasurable joy into his life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hartman, Sr., his mother, Hazel Hartman, as well as Annette Brown and Matthew Brown, who now welcome him with open arms into his Heavenly home.
Robert’s life was a testament to resilience and to the profound impact one person can have on generations. His memory will live on in the stories he shared, the lessons he taught, and the love he freely gave.
His family will forever hold him in their hearts until they are all reunited together in Heaven.
A committal service will be held at Palm Northwest Mortuary & Cemetery, located at 6701 N Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV, 89131, United States. The service is scheduled for December 2, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
