Robert "Brother," Marion, 78, of Las Vegas, passed away April 24, 2011. Born in Delta Pointe, La., and was a 70-year resident of Nevada. He graduated from Las Vegas H.S. in 1949. "Brother" worked at the Desert Inn Hotel for 45 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius "Red" and Gladys Marion; brother, LeRoy; and sister, Vesta Lee Marion. Survivors include sisters, Avoy, Lilly, Emma and Tasha; cousins, Bobbi Lue and James Lee; loving niece, Patti; and many friends and family.
Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Monday, May 9, at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, at St. James Catholic Church, 1920 Martin Luther King Blvd. Burial following at Palm Memorial Park.
