Robert J. O'Connell passed away on January 11, 2011 at Southern Hills Hospital & Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born March 18, 1936 in New York City, New York. He was very proud to be a New York City Firefighter. He was a 15 year resident of Nevada. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara, son-in-law Joseph, and their daughter, Allison Galizia, his daughter Rosemary O'Connell, his brother Brien and sister-in-law, Ann O'Connell, nieces, Kelly Cavanee, Tracey Chavez, Christy O'Connell, Mary Beth Keane and Kimberley Schroeder, and nephew, James Keane. Visitation will be at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Avenue on Friday, January 14 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, with a Vigil Service at 6:00pm. Funeral Mass will be at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive on Saturday, January 15 at 1:00pm
