We got a part with us always and he will always be loved

First loves are never forgotten. So many memories...we shared a lot of time together growing up. Basketball games, basketball bus rides, track/long jump, canoe rides, the '68 camero, proms, homecomings, lake geneva, disco dancing, concerts, friends, baseball, eiu...i just got the news today. i am sooo sorry to hear about this. Though it's been many, many years, not a year went by that I didn't think about him & quietly wish him and his family well on his b-day. My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family. God bless you. Bob, I know you are in a beautiful place. Love is all there is.  :'(

Bob was a huge part of my family for a while there.  He was such a nice, caring, and helpful person.  I hope his family knows how special he was to my family.  May he be in a happier and peaceful place.

Bob fun facts: Winner of the 1976 Kendal County Carp Catching Contest, once owned a wicked 1967 Camero RS,  long time YHS School record holder in the Triple Jump and competed in the 1978 & 79  IL HS Track and Field Championships (4X440 relay and triple jump),    Bob played a crappy cornet and was the most conscientious employee ever at True Value Hardware, and a true-blue loyal friend.

My condolences and prayers go out to Bob's family.  We graduated together from Yorkville High School.  I remember him as a very compassionate and nice guy.  I'm sure he will be missed by those close to him.

Lt Sebby was great to work with and truly cared about his family, friends and co-workers. He was one of the few that kept in touch after I retired. I am very sorry to hear about Bob passing on.  I never worked directly for Bob but I would occasionally run into him at the Detective Bureau and we would exchange thoughts and jokes, and I found him to be very pleasant, informative, and friendly, this being over a 15 year period of time at Metro.  Rest in Peace Bob.

I will miss Bob like crazy.  He was a brother to me.  I worked with him in Forgery at LVMPD when he was a Sgt. and later a Lt.  I will always remember him bringing cases of Diet Pepsi yo work and drinking it right out of the box!  Love you Bob and RIP.
