So sorry for the loss of Uncle Roger, as we all called him, with his never ending smile. He had a heart of gold and was always happy to see us. He will be missed by all. My condolences and love Jackie Rae Gira, family from North Dakota.

Uncle Roger was the sweetest, most kind man you'd ever have known.  This is a picture of him with our dog. She loved him, too! She could hardly wait for Roger to sit down so she could jump up in his lap, for she knew of his warm-hearted soul. I will always remember and cherish how genuine he was in conversation, especially when he smiled.

Just an interesting memory in Roger's life... In the late 1950s, he was in the Army in Germany.  One of his fellow soldiers was Elvis Presley.  Roger thought Elvis was a great guy and very down to earth. These pictures were provided by Sue Forness, one of his nieces.  We all had similar pictures and autographs.  Enjoy!

Bill and I wish to extend our sincere condolences to Aunt Helen and family. His loss is so heartbreaking . Bill had many conversations about the Military with Uncle Roger and yes that old say," Hurry up and wait!", always came up with a laugh. We so enjoyed his visits here. Uncle Roger farmed with my Dad before he left for California.  He always had time for us kids. We loved to ride in the grain truck with him out to the field  during harvest.  We talked a lot! Mostly about silly kid stuff. So Uncle Roger taught us a game. Who could stay quiet the longest! I tried so hard to win at that game,  but I failed miserable.  Uncle Roger was such a fun and loving Uncle. He will be dearly missed.

We're sure going to miss Uncle Roger. He was so loving and kind. One of my favorite picture with him. Rest in Peace 🙏

All of us Boe and Bevre younger generation of nieces and nephews, spouses and children are heartbroken to learn of Uncle Roger's  passing, our only remaining uncle.  We just didn't get enough of this dear man in our lives.  We all live so far apart and that is what life brings.  But l am sure he knew in his heart how much he was loved, respected, missed and adored.  When we all were so much younger in North Dakota and in California, he was more like a big brother, being only 10 years older or so than we oldest cousins.  We have so many fond memories of our get-togethers, holidays, goofy pictures and good pictures!  Thank the dear Lord for that.  May you rest in peace and comfort, dear Uncle Roger.   We will cherish our memories forever.  Much love from your sister Charlotte's kids, Patricia, Cheryl, Victoria and Loren.

I remember the last time we saw Uncle Roger in 2021 at his brother's (our father's) funeral.  He spent a week with us. I will cherish these memories.  We love you Uncle Roger ❤️ 😢🙏

We will sure miss our dear Uncle Roger. He always had a smile and genuinely wanted to know about what was going on in your life. This memory is from early 1960's on the farm. We always navigated toward him. Love you always♥️😢🙏
