Ronald Ernest Wikstrom

Ron grew up on the family farm outside of Cleghorn, Iowa with his sister Jeanette. Following high school Ron attended Westmar College, playing football and baseball and developing a life-long love of sports. After graduation, Ron moved to Minneapolis and began his 30-year career at Graybar Electric Company as an accountant.

Forty five years to the day before his passing, Ron met Jean during a tornado warning in Minneapolis. Ron and Jean were married one year later and have two sons. Ron and his family transferred with Graybar to the Chicago area in 1972 and later to Southern California where he lived until retirement. Ron and Jean moved to Las Vegas 15 years ago and have enjoyed regular visits from family and friends, the highlight being the week or tow each summer when the two granddaughters came to visit.

Ron Is survived by Jean his wife of 44 years, sons Joel and Scott, daughter-in-law Joy, granddaughters Clarisse and Eleanor and by his sister Jeanette Iversen, family, and friends.
