Ruben Gonzalez

Ruben Gonzalez, age 55, of Las Vegas, passed away on September 28, 2015 in his own bed. Born in New York, he moved to Pennsylvania and Florida before moving to Las Vegas in 2003. He was born on December 11, 1959 to Ruben Gonzalez, Sr. and Cecilia Gonzalez in Brooklyn, New York. He found his soul mate when he was 33 years of age when he married Ana Baculi of Cebu, Philippines. Ruben received and Associate’s Degree in occupational therapy from LaGuardia Community College and stayed there for all his years. He was very experienced within his field of study in various businesses and hospitals (too many to name), and was forced to retire at the age of 54 due to various chronic medical issues. Ruben always loved food, Martial Arts and baseball. He was a very humorous, kind-hearted, well-recognized human being in his community and always smiled even through the tough times. He was kind and always motivated others to be the kindest person that they could be. Also, on top of that, he was a loving father. He is survived by his wife, Ana, his son Justin and his daughter Amber. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am on Saturday, October 17, 2015, at St. Elizabeth An Seton Catholic Church in Las Vegas.
