Sadie Jean Buehler

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sadie “Jean” Buehler. On May 30, 2025, at the age of 89, she was called home by our Heavenly Father. Jean was born in New Jersey but spent most of her childhood in Newport News, Virgina. In March of 1952 she married the love of her life Airman Ronald Buehler. Jean was a proud mother and military wife. She had 5 children, and the family was stationed at many Air Forces bases including Alaska, California, Germany, and finally Nevada.

Jean was a 62-year resident of Las Vegas, NV. For 8 years, Jean worked for the International Hotel when it opened in 1969, later renamed the Las Vegas Hilton. Jean also worked for the Clark County Health District where she retired after 20 years of service.

Jean was sassy, full of life and beloved by many. Jean was most proud of being a mother and a grandmother, and “Grammy” to all. She helped shape the lives of many. She loved her family, friends, Pepsi, and Twinkies.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Sr and sons Ronald Jr, Robert and Randall. She is survived by son Raymond (Carol), daughter Loretta and daughter-in-law Shelley. Jean had 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 9:00 AM at Palm Downtown Mortuary & Cemetery (1325 N Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101). Jean will be missed and will be forever in our hearts. May she rest in peace.
