Shelia Faye Watts

Shelia was born in Rush Springs, Oklahoma, and spent much of her early life moving between different states before ultimately settling in Las Vegas, where she lived the remainder of her life.

Shelia was the embodiment of warmth, love, and generosity. Her home was always open, and her presence brought comfort and joy to everyone she knew. She was dependable and deeply giving, with a kind, inviting spirit that made people feel instantly welcome.

She loved games, laughter, and travel—always ready for a new adventure or a good story. She found joy in visiting the casino and sharing good times with friends. Shelia had a deep and abiding love for animals. Every pet she welcomed into her life held a special place in her heart, and she cared for them with unwavering affection until their final days.

Shelia was preceded in death by her husband, Hilton Lee Watts, her Daughter, Sherry Lee (Watts) Thomas, and her brother, Ronnie Adams. She is survived by her sister, Pamela Stein; her brother, Bryon Adams; and her grandchildren: Taylor Thomas, Lauren Kanet, Lea Seipert, Linnea Ward, Tanner Thomas, Tate Thomas, and Turner Thomas.

Shelia’s memory lives on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her love, strength, and warmth will never be forgotten.

A visitation for Shelia will be held Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Downtown, 1325 North Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101. A funeral service will occur Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 1325 North Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101. A committal service will occur Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Palm Downtown Mortuary & Cemetery, 1325 N Main St, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
