Sophia Marie Faraci, 20, became a native of Las Vegas on March 8, 1995 and passed away July 2, 2015. Sophia was a beautiful young woman whose knowledge and insight were beyond her years. She forged her own path, living life to the fullest. She emulated kindness and courage and was true to her authentic self. Sophia was generous to a fault and had a compassionate heart. She was fun-loving, teasing people to get a rise out of them or to make them laugh. She was very athletic in her younger years, playing soccer and ice skating. She had a beautiful singing voice and was very artistic. She was extremely bright, creative and had a strong love for animals. She loved her family very much. She enjoyed doing her mom’s makeup and was a wonderful caretaker. She loved her dad and had an extra special place in her heart for him, but she especially loved her siblings and younger cousins. No one could make Sophia smile as much as her son, Jayden, did. She became a videographer when the two of them were together; Jayden hammed it up just as much as she did. In the words of her wonderful friends, Sophia had the ability to light up a room. She was truly one of a kind. Sophia is now our wonderful angel, who has left us entirely too soon, but she will always be in our hearts. Sophia is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Virginia and John Faraci, and her maternal grandparents, Josephine and Anthony Rivetti and LanFranco Franchi. Sophia is survived by her parents, Vinny Faraci and Maria Rivetti; her son, Jayden Faraci; and her siblings Gina, Gianna and Vinny. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2015 from 5-7pm at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Las Vegas, NV 89146. Arrangements under the direction of Palm South Jones Mortuary, Las Vegas, NV.
