Surrounded by his family Steve Kennedy, known to family as Butch, passed away peacefully after a courageous 7yr. battle with brain cancer. Steve was born in Baltimore MD. and spent most of his youth in Marlton NJ. before moving to Las Vegas. Steve worked in Atlantic City for the Tropicana for many years before his move to Binion’s Horseshoe in Downtown Las Vegas. The Hard Rock Casino was Steve’s best career move because it’s where he met his Angel, Jingle Ramos. Steve and Jingle enjoyed travel and watching their favorite sport teams. Some of their travels took them to Ireland, Mexico and Fiji. Hobbies which included tennis, speeding across Lake Mead or down the Colorado river on his jet skis as well as a lifelong love of golf and music filled Steve’s spare time. Tropical fish and corvettes were among some of his hobbies that Steve became deeply involved for a period.
Steve’s Mom passed in 2015 however his Father Stephen Kennedy, Son Alex, Sister Colleen Kleiner, Brother Kevin Kennedy along with several nieces and nephews were all there to support Steve through his struggle.
