Steve was born in Victorville, CA and resided there until age 5. His family moved to Las Vegas and made this their home base. They also lived in Texas, Arizona , Florida, Puerto Rico and Germany. After graduating high school in Germany he then moved to Utah where he went to Westminster college and played soccer for four years. Steve held many different jobs while in college and hit the ski slopes every chance he got. Steve was a renowned "car guy" and worked in all aspects of the business at many dealerships throughout the Las Vegas Valley. He was known for his good humor and great listening skills and spent most of his working career helping others and making friends. Steve will be remembered for his warmth and ability to poke fun with everyone in a lighthearted way. He enjoyed working in his yard, driving fast with loud rock music blaring, his dog walking him and watching his favorite new Tom Brady team of the week as well as golf, baseball and soccer. Steve is survived by his two daughters Megan and Taylor Linihan and his life partner Lois Greer.
Tremendous and heartfelt thanks go to the exceptional nurses and doctors at Mountain View Hospital who provided a peaceful and compassionate environment during his transition from life to the next.
Steve's "Celebration of Life" will be held November 23, 2025 from 1 to 3:00 pm at Lakes Memorial 2620 Regatta Drive Ste 114 Las Vegas, NV 89128 between Americana Restaurant and Daily Bread Bakery Cafe.
