Thomas J Armstrong, 67, passed away Sept. 7, 2016, from complications due to surgery. He was born Nov. 28, 1948 in Kermit, Texas, to Vance and Eula Armstrong. He was a longtime resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, retiring from Southwest Gas after 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Frederic Armstrong and sister, Wanda Bunger. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carolyn; daughters, Tracy Spigener and Shari (John) Valentine; son, Shane Thomas; grandchildren, Sierra, Miranda, Raymond, and their dad, Ray Spigener, and James, Kyle, Austin and Cody Valentine; brother-in-law, George Bunger; niece, Helen Bean and nephew, Louis Bunger. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, 2016 at Palm Northwest Mortuary, 6701 N Jones Blvd. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Disabled American Veterans or a charity of your choice.
