Todd, also known as TJ, grew up in Gary, Indiana, and San Diego, California. He moved to Las Vegas his sophomore year in high school. He grew up playing football—he was a talented quarterback. The lessons he learned playing quarterback followed him in life. He was a great leader to his family, friends, and co-workers. He took such pride in helping others become better. He often spoke about "coaching and training.” He always wanted everyone around him to succeed. TJ put everyone ahead of himself. Growing up he was a wonderful brother who always protected and cared for his siblings, Myles, Wesley, LaShea, and Chelsea. He was an amazing husband, father, son, brother-in-law, and uncle.
TJ married his high school sweetheart, Vanessa Beverly; they were married for 22 years they had two sons together—Trey and Jordan Beverly.
Todd is survived by his mother and father, Todd Allen Beverly Sr. and Adriene Jefferson. His wife, Vanessa Beverly, and son, Jordan Beverly.
