Victoria 'Viki' Conn passed away suddenly on April 18, 2013 at the young age of 66, in Las Vegas, NV. Viki was born in Elbert, WV to her parents John and Lillian. She spent most of her life in Michigan, before moving to Las Vegas in 2010. Viki leaves behind her husband of 50 years, Azrie, son John of Las Vegas, daughter Melyssa (Boris) of Calgary, AB, and two grandsons, Connor (10) and Kurt (8), who she adored so much, plus many, many cousins and lifelong friends. Viki worked many years for the Michigan Dept of Social services, where she retired from in 1986. Her hobbies included going to garage sales, playing games on the computer, painting, and responsible (!) gambling, often giving a share of her winnings to the Three Square food bank. Viki loved her family more than anything and would do anything for them. Her love of family and God, and giving to others, was influenced by her grandmother Victoria ('Busia')' and her dear Aunt Tillie (Ciocia). Viki had a hugeheart, was extremely thoughtful of others, gave wonderful hugs, and never forgot to send friends and family a birthday card. Viki's home is full of photographs of special moments and trips with family and friends, and she kept just about every card or letter that anyone sent her. Two weeks before her death, Viki experienced so much joy while her daughter and grandsons visited Vegas. So much fun was packed into those 8 days, including Easter dinner (with her homemade perogies), a road trip to Disneyland, games with the kids, and an intimate surprise 50th anniversary party, thrown by John and Melyssa. Viki loved and prayed to God always; and God blessed His beautiful, faithful Viki with a wonderful Earthly send-off. She will be missed dearly.
