Vivian L. Davis, 81, of Las Vegas, passed away May 2, 2010, and has been rejoined with her husband, Bob Davis, USAF retired officer, who preceded her in death in 2007. She was born and lived in South Dakota until her marriage moved her to Europe and many locales in the U.S. She was a Las Vegas resident since 1991. Vivian was a devoted mother, RN and a tireless worker. A dedicated member of Good Samaritan Lutheran Church, she was also an avid golfer and loved to tap dance as a member of the Nevada State Troopers Tap Dance Troupe for many years. Vivian is survived by her loving children, Diana, Bob, Steve and Vickie. A memorial service will be at 9 a.m. Friday, May 7, at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be sent to the Nevada State Veterans Home Gift Account, 100 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005, indicating "In Memory of Vivian Davis."
